Chris Herlihy brings to Polestar Design a holistic understanding of building design and construction that is based on his experience as a residential carpenter, fine woodworker, and construction manager. At Polestar, Herlihy efficiently and artfully guides his clients to realize their vision. He is passionate about client-focused design, a cooperative and clear dialogue with his builders, and creative, elegant solutions.
Herlihy lives in the West End neighborhood of Portland in an 1846 Second Empire house that he is renovating with historic reproductions crafted in his home shop. In his spare time, he likes to ski, snowboard, and mountain bike with his wife Emily and their two children.
